Teaching in schools is one special vocation that Uncle8888 truly respects it and giving teachers credits!
Over the years of close encounters with his few ex-colleagues who did mid-career switch by taking PAY CUT to go into teaching to find their passion!
Teaching can be a strange career with some taking up scholarships to teach; but later either break their bonds or run road soon after completing their bonds while some others from outside taking PAY CUT to find their PASSION by doing mid-career switch!
What about Investment "Gurus" teaching passion?

ReplyDeleteI prefer to keep the focus on ourselves - what we can control.
If we can't tell the difference or verify whether the guru is more interested in the students or his wallet, it reflects a lot about ourselves ;)
Glad you spoke up for the low-key TRUE teachers and gurus in our midst. They don't do song and dance about what they do - they rely more on word-of-mouth.
And that often is more than enough ;)
