I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

$10,000 pay day per month???

Read? $10k a month as a tutor? Think again.

$10,000 is high enough to definitely beat median household income of S$7,870

Read? Real income up for most working household

Same here as passive income.

Not all passive incomes are equal even their numbers can be the SAME!

Passive income of $60K p.a. from

(1) dividend income from S-REITs
(2) rental income from investment properties
(3) rental income from renting out your two bedrooms

Read? Passive Income??? Why must have more of it! (2)

  1. One day, my admin clerk "jokingly" said that her pay is low and I responded that her stress is low and the number of emails to read is also very low.

    LOL!

    1. Same as stocks.

There are reasons for their low stock price and high dividend yield.

Free lunches in the stock market can only last for weeks if not days as there are just too many smart people waiting to grab them.

  3. Hi Uncle CW,

Higher pay higher expenses! Quite a norm. Net out still low!

  4. That's why you can seldom live with a "Millionaire-Next -Door" type in HDBs.
