I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

 Uncle8888 has almost done with his slides well ahead of the schedule. The Talk is more towards PERSONAL investing sharing out his thoughts after 17 years in the stock market.

      Btw, i just want to get a second opinion from u about eldershield & aviva disability income.
      Do u have disability income? This insurance will give u monthly payout something like disability income from aviva (aviva ideal income).

      If i am going to get a better coverage of eldershield from aviva mycare plus, i can have 2 disability out of 6 to qualify for the monthly payout.
      But i am still thinking whether to buy disability insurance or not.
      I confirm will get eldershield but still cant decide to buy higher coverage or buy only the basic then buy additional aviva disability insurance (aviva ideal income).

      Really hope u can give me some guidance. I just want to heard what others thinking not blame u if anything happen.

      Me and my wife stayed with CPF Eldershield as more of contributing to this social insurance pooling.

      My retirement is based on my three taps solution model with self-insured medical and health fund and 4 rm HDB flat as asset of last resort.

      If you are free on Mon, Wed or Fri late evening; we can chat over cup of kopi kosong after your dinner. I can travel anywhere in Singapore with my no additional cost BMW. Remember to bring paper and pen along :-)

      Not one BMW. It is a fleet of BMW with drivers and drivers. No need park at GEM. The driver will let me off and continue his or her job. They are paid!
