I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

HOW TO RETIRE? (3)

Read? HOW TO RETIRE? (2)

Read? Secrets of life in six words!

Someone said this to Uncle8888: "U still fit to work. Why retire? Aiyo."

Exactly when he is fit to work; he is also fit to walk long distance.

Walk everywhere and even plan to walk one round along the coast of Singapore and have plenty of time to waste doing such nonsense.

  2. CW,

He who is slogging hard due to commitments of course will say fit why want to retire? Work till you drop mah!

He who is retired at 35 will of course ask why still want to work when you have enough? Must enjoy life what!

Just like the father and his son with the donkey, many will be quick to offer their opinions and suggestions ;)

But these people don't have a donkey to sell!
