I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

Your Investing Strategy? Depending Who You Ask???

When you ask those successful retail investors who have $X,XXX,XXX net worth what are their current investing strategy?

What is the expected answer?

Wealth preservation and passive income as cash flow for liquidity needs and re-invest the leftovers. Right?

When you ask those successful retail investors who have $X,XXX,XXX net worth; but have started off with $XXX,XXX or $XX,XXX what are their past investing strategy?

Still same answer?

For investing strategy and goals, let your Future You thank you for doing it right at the start. For younger ones, there will be few market cycles  ahead of you. So don't waste them.

Always ask the right questions to come to the right conclusion for yourself. Your future will come from your past and current You.

    1. CW,

Reminds me of what my ah ma said to me in Teochew when I was much younger:

      上山不问下山人

The wisdom of your post may take some time for the younger ones to figure it out for themselves ;)
