Day by day, govt knows that the cure cannot be worse than the disease. They also know that the virus is much much less lethal to younger people without history of cardiovascular disease (which includes diabetes) or pulmonary disease. Hence sooner rather than later, they'll bend or relax the rules to allow the economy to recover.
ReplyDeleteThe messaging will be changed to resemble that in S Korea, Taiwan & Japan: younger people & workers --- wear mask & practise personal hygiene, but go out & work & spend! As for older folks --- please remain indoors! Oops! LOL!

At restaurants and hawker centres, each table will be limited to five people.
Retail shops, parks, sports and other public facilities including stadiums, swimming pools, golf courses, playgrounds, bowling centres and fitness studios will also be able to reopen. This applies to similar facilities in private settings such as condominiums and clubs.

ReplyDeleteThose who love buffets have to wait a little longer to feast on an all-you-can-eat spread. All self-service buffet lines must remain suspended during Phase 2, said the advisory.
Sorry for those service staff and chefs in buffet restaurant. They are still affected.
