I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

Freegan Or Freelance For Daily Meals???


Uncle8888 has small chats with more than dozen of senior uncles and aunties in their late 60s and early 70s working freelance about 2 to 3 hrs per work day and 2 to 4 work days per week for their daily meals and some pocket money. 

 Their freelance jobs are not back breaking tasks so it is not an issue for seniors.

How much food can we eat?

    Hi Uncle8888,

    Freegans will try to get the stuff they need (including food) for free. I believe these uncles and aunties you spoke to are not freegans and carry out freelance work so that they can earn some pocket money to buy food.

      Freegans are alternative to freelance. :-)

    Freelance for extra pocket money & go to temples for free food. Best of both worlds haha!!

    Exchange time & effort for food or money. Freegan for food may not be worthwhile unless location is nearby or want to drastically cut cost.
