I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

Recording Your Investment Or Stock Transactions Using MS Excel Worksheet Made You A Precision Retail Investors???

Just that MS Excel Worksheet shows value in various formats of presentation up to XXXX decimal points.

It is just a worksheet and nothing more!

Just because of few pokers out there  in the cyber world poking some fun at these decimal places.

Why are we are avoiding using MS Excel as CONVENIENT form or media for recording and tracking stock transaction either for performance review or future learning points?

By showing two decimal places; it DOESN'T make one a precision investor. Precision retail investors are those spend lots of time analyzing at finer details!

Anyone can turn on two decimal places with clicks; but not anyone can spend lots of time and effort on detailed analysis before execution.

See the difference!

:-)

  3. Hoho .... when you got 7 digits on the left of the decimal point, you can ignore those on the right! :)

For some people, $100K is a rounding error for their personal portfolios. LOL!!
