I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

Read? One veteran sent me this note last night ...


Even veterans can find it so difficult to time the Market after years of riding market cycles.

Time flies!

It was more than one year when he sent me that note on 25 Jun 2015. Since then, Market didn't crash or drop much.

Last check with him few weeks ago; he is still 100% out of equity market and collecting interests from short term notes.

    Everything in perspective.

    Market did not crash much; but on specific stocks...

    I think some may have wished they had cashed out their O&G stocks last year like your veteran friend before WTI crude tanked to below USD50 early this year :(

    The same can be said for those who owned banking stocks betting interest rates will rise this year...


    Yup, to be right and sitting tight is not easy!

      I also sitting on losses on O&G stocks! Wish I have cleared all last year when I already start to be bearish.

      No too late!

      Recently have to clean some non O&G stocks with pain of smaller losses! But still I did it!
