Women Called Themselves Housewives. Men Don't Called Themselves Househusbands But Early Retirees???

Gender bias!!!

Women can proudly call themselves housewife or fill up on their occupation as Housewife; but don't recall reading any men calling themselves househusband; but they called themselves early retirees!

  1. Alamak ... I've been calling myself jobless ... How leh? 😅

  2. haha i wonder as well...why some guys who are married and young claim to have attained early retirement while I don't recall women in similar situation make the same claim... in that case, my mum was a retiree at a young age too haha

  3. You guys so bad one...

Who wants to admit they are living off parents or wives, can't stay in a job, have personal social issues; etc?

Everyone can recognise a comb-over; no need to state the obvious ;)

    Wait, I did call myself a nano-hedge fund manager - how's that for self-grandiose?

But then, I also got call myself a man-whore. They cancel each other out?

Lucky I got "chope" the Singapore Man of Leisure title!

Now others have to find other euphemisims for "unemployed".

  4. Actually, I would call myself SAHD, Stay At Home Dad... Haha cooler sounds than househusband right?

  5. SAHD is getting common. There at least two of them in my block
