I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

  1. Hi Uncle,I like the way you track your investment. How do you decide that this is the price @18++ that you should be buying so frequently? Are you trying to aversgd down or you see this as a value price to purchase.

    Thanks

    1. I have learnt enough NOT to Average down but Average in by max three shots. Position sizing, risk and portfolio management. No single stock sizing is more than 10% of my capital.

How do you decide that this is the price @18++ ?

I am buying at support level which also gives me ard 5% assuming next two yrs cut from $1.32 to $1

In long-term investing and short-trading strategy; I will hold one or more position for long-term dividends (Panadols or golden eggs) for cash flow to fund retirement phase and short-term trading for more Panadols by buying back.

    2. Thanks for the response. For averaging in, will each average buy units remain the same or higher (since same dollar purchase gives more)? I usually just maintain the same units rather than the value.

    3. Three shots of about same strength rounding up to nearest 100 shares.
