I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

      Can you do another one? PLZ ..... I have trouble decrypting your posts. Not as smart as SMOL. :). Need to learn from someone who has gone thru more than 1 bear cycle. What is your strategy, cash out during bulls and enter during bears again or like buffet...hold on tight if fundamentals are right ?

      I am not with BigScribe; but an invited guest speaker for that talk to give an alternate view on optimizing CPPF for retirement.

      I heard from BigScribe that they may be organizing another Talk soon.

      May be they may want to pick up something that are of interests to retail investors especially for those are preparing for sustainable retirement income for life in 10 to 15 years time.

      (1) S-REITs and dilution at personal investment level and sustainable income for life? Alternate voice is often overwhelm by loud voices in the main stream and cyber world

      (2) How does a company GROW its balance sheet in its simplest form by taking out those accounting details? Story telling board. Growth, Income and Growth-Dividend; Leverage income; leveraged growth, etc

      (3) Money management - swap between interests and dividends

      (4) Sustainable retirement income for life - e.g. bucket theory for X years of stable income and leaking bucket for refill etc.

      CW cannot speak openly so I'll do it for him.

      You just jio him for kopi and he can answer all your queries without holding back.

      In an open forum with other invited speakers, we must take care of the face and feelings of others mah. So there will be sugar-coating, watering down, and meaning between the lines still ;)


      Oh! If you do jio CW out, do bring a pen and some A4 papers. I talk with my hands; CW talks with lots of doodling!!!
