Theindonesiatoday.com - Gloucester Coal Limited, a subsidiary of Noble Group, declared that heavy rain hits Australia unaffected its coal operations.
Gloucester told ASX this morning that despite adverse weather conditions along the east coast of Australia, the Company’s Gloucester basin open cut coal mining operations, 100 km north of Newcastle, have not been materially impacted.
Mining at the company’s Duralie and Stratford operations has continued despite above average rainfall during the last quarter.
"Gloucester Coal has been actively expanding its output of coking coal from the Stratford and Duralie operations and is well placed to maintain a high output despite above average rain in the Gloucester area," Barry Tudor, CEO of Gloucester said. (Theindonesiatoday.com)
