My Long Term Personal Financial Goal - Self-insured Fund by 60!!!

Uncle8888's last life insurance policy will mature in Mar 2016 and thereafter he will be self-insured with his own fund and supported by Medisave and Medishield.

He made that decision in his 30s and works towards this 20 over years long-term personal financial goal.

Now, who says long-term goal is "useless"?

  1. CW,

    Eh?

    Sama sama.

This coming Dec I will cash out of my last remaining Wholelife policy as it has reached it 20th year and it has outlived its purpose.Cancelled my Term plan 4 years ago I think.

I've no idea that when I bought my Term and Wholelife insurance policies 20 years ago, my networth will exceed the combined payouts 4 years ago... I was taken by surprise more than anything.

Wow! You very de good! Can plan all this from way before!?

    You win!!!

By the way, have you noticed you are talking more and more like Grasshopper? What dance in the sun, sleep in winter...

After crossing the river, I've no longer any need for the sampan. You seem to enjoy carrying the sampan on you even while on land ;)
