I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

    1. There are so many other kind of small stuffs that are "waste" of money in extreme savers' eyes. Even drink kopitiam kopi can be wasteful. Just go public toilet and top up water bottle. Save tons of money over lifetime.

Taking vacation is not a sin. Frequent vacation is.
Getting married is not a sin. Frequently getting married is.

  4. Ehh ... sometimes marrying the right person can be very "profitable" :)

Some people even make multi-million dollar careers out of it ... "big girls need big diamonds" LOL!

Nowadays marriage is more of a business partnership & both sides access what they can bring to the table, and whether a partnership can synergise resources & talents for better future. I suppose it's been always like that ... just that it's now more upfront & obvious, done at early stage before serious pak tor! LOL!

    1. Spur,

Don't forget the other side of the coin where quite a few men have benefitted from rich father-in-laws' support to become land owners themselves ;)

Somehow, I don't think saving on Starbucks was how they got the attention of their brides...

      Marry poor never mind.

Marry your significant other when they have no aspirations or dreams, that's the killer!
