I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

Yesterday, I casually asked a colleague when is he getting his CPF and what is his investment plan?

He told me he got it 3 months ago and also attended CPF Talk on Investing Options for Reaching 55. He told me he has no any other investment plan except to leave it in CPF to service his housing loan - another 11 years to go!!!

I guess he must have upgraded his home at least once. Probably, he is like many other CPF members who are thinking of using their residential home as assets for retirement. What will happen when eventually this fairly large group of residential home property investors start cashing out their older HDB flats. I believe that people around my age groups are from babies-boom era, right?

Will HDB Resale properties crash in 10-15 years time?
