I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

Me too: Lian Beng

Someone asked whether Uncle8888 has any construction stock?

Have leh.

Not surprising. Right?

He has a small position in Lian Beng at $0.575 since Jan 2008.

How come?

It is matter of time after spending enough time following forums and blogs; we will soon get suck into one of those "good" ideas to develop that feeling not to miss out "good" stuff.

Simple theory and reasoning.

You can see those big construction jobs coming, coming and coming in Singapore. Right?

Plenty of projects. Plenty of lobangs.

Plenty of profit???

Hmm ...

But, big projects don't necessary mean big profits.

One thing, we must be aware that main contractors are likely to get squeezed in hard time as there is little differentiating factors among them.

Their sub-contractors will get squeezed even harder in bad times. Sub-contractors will die first; guess who will get hit next?

You can see Lian Beng is also very volatile too.

Need to have strong heart and deep pocket too.
