I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

Read? Yield of dreams: Investors have "a once in a lifetime opportunity" in blue chips

Can we recognize and find the Yield of Dreams e.g. at least 15% p.a.?

Unlikely, we can recognize them as they didn't look like one in the first place.

See for yourself on the left of these two images ...

    3. Lol !! Temperament and CW,

I think size of capital when u start is more important than age.

      I felt now also different.

I feel the economy is in uncharted waters ... No more copying of success formula...

  2. Hi CW,

Would u expect the Singapore Inc to have the same growth rate for the next decade or 2 ?

I do think we could get double digit yield for blue chips, but it is through bottom fishing and growth ...

I dun think buying it at fair value will allow it to grow to a double digit yield through growth alone anymore.

    1. Still possible for local companies who are going overseas in big way. Look at US and Europe companies Inc. Truly global companies!

    2. But you are talking about the blue chips ... they are already global... They can go even more global ... but I guess the growth can never be like when they build their moat...

But if you think some SME can grow into Blue chip, but market didn't think so, and you are right, then bing bing!!!
