I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

When We Are Dying or When Our Loved One Is Dying???

Read? Retirement Income for Life??? (13)

Ordinary retirees in Singapore are likely to depend on combination of their investment portfolio, CPF OA, CPF SA and CPF Life and supported by some level of emergency cash and adequate medical coverage that fix our daily lifestyle. Everyday, we treat ourselves 365 days a year and year after year  in B1, B2 or C Ward; but when we are suddenly sick; we "demand" A ward treatment.
That is strange! Guilty conscience at play or what?

Often heard at wakes.

Paying $XX,XXX for the service of 10 monks to do prayer for their parents soul. Some of these children might not even want to spend $X,XXX or $XXX to bring their parent out for vacation when they were alive!

  3. Paid $18,000 for my late father's funeral and 'white money' is about $27,000 for a 5-day wake. My mother has set aside $20,000 for her funeral expenses.
