I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

I want to catch the next Bear???



Just For Thinking ...

Uncle8888 has been hearing some people keep saying that they are going to catch the next Bear.

Hmm ...  Really ah?

BTW,

Did you catch the last Big Bear of 2008/09 from Jan to Jun 2009?

Did you buy or sell?


Here is what Uncle8888 had bought and the biggest mistake he has learnt that his War chest was not at its best.

Jan 09 - DBS, SML
Mar 09 - Noble, CPL
Apr 09 - CPL
May 09 - CPL, SCI, Noble
Jun 09 - SML, Olam

Now, he is building up his War chest for the next Bear and this time will be different!

    When bear appear, a lot of people got eaten up instead of catching it.

    Some go hiding and therefore miss the chance to capture the opportunity.
