I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

  1. Congratulation CW8888!
For me, there is always a time to sow and a time to reap. Just like what every farmer does. And the 4 seasons go on repeating.
We never can be like WB buy the whole company or become the major share holder and run the businesses his way. Or maybe some like to be a sleeping minority partner of a good successful business forever. But every business has it's up and down. Even if it doesn't, you still has to sell to realise your gain in capital, one fine day.

    1. Agreed. Just have to remember sometimes even GLC's blue chip can go no where or turn into blue black chip. Again, what's the moral of the story?
So in general is it safer to do short term trading on blue chips then on penny chip? especially the S(stupid)Chips.Ha! Ha!
