Six Zero Beggars???

Yesterday, Uncle8888 was talking stocks with one woman retail investor in her 50s. She has been investing for more than 20 years together with her hubby.

Woman and his man have often attended investment seminars organized by SIAS and other brokers on market outlook.

Wow! Tag Team partners!

Uncle8888 told her about his two zero beggars story.

But, she surprised him with her six zero beggars adventure. All beggars were S-chips.

One of them she has bought on that day and the next day it was suspended. Super shit!

Her best is Keppel Corp. She bought @ $3+ and sold @ $5+

Hmmm.......

The Moral of the Story ...

Many retail investors are likely to hold on to their losing stocks to zero; few are willing to hold tight when the stock price goes against them during market cycle.

Do we think only losing stocks cause pain?

Not true.

    1. You should ask what is the greatest amount you have lost in one counter. i had lost to the tune of $30xxx in one S-CHIP. Fortunately for me i cut loss fast enough if not i would have lost almost double. All the cash shown in their AR only was true for a very short while.
The 2nd greatest loss was about $20xxx during my much younger days for speculating in warrants. And of course all the smaller losses add up quite a lot too.
i really feel quite amaze how i survive and even prosper after making some money and given back quite an mount.

The moral of the story is (borrow from G SORO) :-

"It's not whether you're right or wrong that's important, but how much money you make when you're right and how much you lose when you're wrong."

      Shalom.
