I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

How to become rich in stocks??? (6)

Read? How to become rich in stocks??? (5)

One of the ancient Zen's teaching ..

"A fish swims in the ocean, and no matter how far it swims there is no end to the water. A bird flies in the sky, and no matter how far it flies there is no end to the air. However, the fish and the bird have never left their elements. When their activity is large their field is large. When their need is small their field is small. Thus, each of them totally covers its full range, and each of them totally experiences its realm. If the bird leaves the air it will die at once. If the fish leaves the water it will die at once."

How is the above Zen's teaching applicable to investing?

Coporation is like a fish swimiming in the ocean,  it can swim as far as it could when there is water. Water is the element to the fish.

What is the element to a corporation?

Someone shared this story with me ....

How to become millionaire with RM1K initial investment and grow to RM3.2M over 40 years.

I guess the answer may be found in my earlier blog post on ....

What did you actually you see?

How can we become rich in stocks?

Repeating it  again ..

"When their activity is large their field is large. When their need is small their field is small. Thus, each of them totally covers its full range, and each of them totally experiences its realm."

Same as corporations. I think.

It reminded me of a guy who has accumulated lots of Genting (GENS) in his portfolio. He has been MIA for a long time.
