I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

Why Into Counting Daily 10,000 Steps? Precision? Silly? or What??? (2)

Read? Why Into Counting Daily 10,000 Steps? Precision? Silly? or What???

Counting 10,000 steps and then pinching pennies along the walking path!

Adding up pennies to dollars!

Closing 2021 with 50+10+10+5+5+5+25+50+5 = $165 or $0.45 per day

Need to walk two days for a cup of kopi-o kosong!

  1. 😄 At the end of the day, its not so much about the money saved, collected or spent, its about what makes us happy.

If walking so many steps each day to have a "free" kopi-o-kosong brings you happiness, just do it.

We have been frugal all our lives and when my wife sees that she can save some money from buying things from a different source, she is happy. That was what is important to me, that she is happy, and not how many cents or dollars she saved.

On the other hand, on our last holiday before Covid, I asked her to book business class tickets for the flight, she disagreed. I know if I insisted, she would be unhappy throughout, so we went on economy. She is happy, I am happy.

Not easy to become free spender when we have been frugal all this time. I think this would not change even at death bed with millions in the bank.😅
