Read? It Is NOT SEXY To Talk About Saving And Earned Income As Investment Bloggers (2)
How many investment articles or blog posts have you came across telling us that our earned income and savings play a critical role in our investment based on luck, skill and war chest (money from savings)?
One picture that tells the full story behind 39 years as employee; and 22 years as Panda retail investor in an uninspiring, boring and zombie SG stock market!
Uncle8888,
ReplyDeleteMainstream people still focus on studies & jobs & career.
Why you think cannot answer a 4-mark PSLE question is like end of the world? 🤣
Only fringe people like us talking n about investing or trading! :P
CW,
ReplyDeleteThat's because you not trying to transition from hobbyist to commercial blogger - using blog as marketing tool to sell courses, workshops, signaling services, investment advice, etc...
If you gonna sell your 10 bagger pillow stock long term investing strategy, why would you share your Earned and Saved income from day job was doing the actual heavy lifting!?
Remember my put $50K under mattress trick?
First year I tell everyone I start with $50K portfolio. Put under mattress. Next year I take another $50K earned and saved from my day job and put under mattress. Now I tell everyone I've doubled my investment portfolio in 2 years! I'll be a millionaire in 20 years! Zero risks some more!!! (Except maybe termites?)
LOL!
Don't laugh. For someone who started small with a $10K portfolio, how many years will he need to grow his portfolio to $100K WITHOUT yearly cash injections from day job?
And what % yield he'll be using to beat my ZERO yield strategy? CPF its 4%? Stocks 8%?
Many didn't bother to do the math.
Those who did the math, that's why they gravitate towards trading penny stocks, options, forex, CFDs! Or get involved with cryptos ;)
Its the strike Toto strategy - buy a little; win a lot! (How else to get rich fast?)
They don't care for linear compounding; its exponential compounding or bust!
That's where your Rounds 1,2,3 trading course will come in ;)
Tell them if you can do it, so can them!
But of course you'll never share your winnings in dollars. Always share in % ;)
Shh...
