I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

Let it go or Hold it tight???

Just For Thinking ....

Read? Let it go or Hold it tight?

Over many seasons of cold winter in the stock market, you have to be really good in one of these actions; otherwise you might be dead before the next winter season.

Let it go!

Migrate

Like these migrating animals

Hold it tight!

Hibernate

Never wonder around in the long winter season thinking that you can survive the long winter without let it go or hold it tight hor!

Get it?

  1. The Moral of Story:

Deer cannot listen to Bear to hold it tight since Deer cannot adapt to the cold winter without food and will soon die.

    Are you Deer or Bear?

    Do the right thing.

  2. i think ETFs can be more like bears. Individual stocks are hard to decide or differentiate. But we all have our own ways of surviving. i think the best is we can have both.
