Shell has brought the ice-class drilling barge Kulluk to
Singapore-based Keppel Fels for repairs in preparation for the 2014
drilling season off Alaska.
The
Shell-owned,
1983-built
Kulluk
was
damaged

drilling
campaign
off
Alaska.
The Anglo-Dutch supermajor confirmed the drilling unit had arrived at Keppel and was preparing to enter drydock for repairs.
“Once secured in drydock, a scope of work will be assigned to the Kulluk as well as a timeline associated with that work,” a Shell spokesman said. The supermajor declined to disclose a schedule for repairs.
