I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

    Hi Uncle8888,

    I did read about it from someone's blog on earning back course fee. I was curious and sent an email to ask the owner about the course fee. He replied and ask me to give him my phone number for further contact. I ignored him.

    Being street smart, is it choosing to believe or not to believe?

    I just receive a free book from ShareInvestor. The book title is "Value Investing in Growth Companies".

    Inside the book, there is advertisement about XXX and some testimonials.

    "I am a total newbie in value investing. Within 3 months, after attending and applying what I learn in XXX, I made back my corse fee and a 5-room HDB flat!". Not type error... 5-room HDB flat!

    It is true or myth?

      Read? The truths behind the ideas of making money in the stock market.

      One day, this "Lao Jiao" hearing us debating on the "truth" of making lots of money from the stock market. I think he must be "buay tahan" and told us off. He said: " My house and everything in it are paid by the stock market."

      But, this "lao Jiao" took years across market cycles and definitely, not within 3 months. Otherwise, he would have retired in his 30s or 40s.
