I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

  1. CW,

I believe many have already found out like you during these 2 years - don't travel or take overseas vacations can SAVE a lot!!!

That's also why I stopped tracking my expenses in Athens (most expensive place I lived) after 2 years.

The biggest expense is travelling and taking vacations.

Am I going to stop travelling around Greece or take vacations to explore Europe?

    No.

What's the point of tracking my expenses if I already had made my decision?

    LOL!

For those finding it hard to hit their financial goals, we either have to work smarter (find ways to Earn More), or work harder (find ways to Save More).

    Or do BOTH!

  2. Child upbringing also a major expense in Singapore now. Some of my friends even choose not to have children.

  3. This link on financial services was very useful for my search. If you are interested to invest in Cimb Cgs then ADDX financial services helps you. A short-term debt instrument commonly issued by corporations to finance operating expenses and near-term
    obligations.
