Currently, I am on my way to Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life after 23 years of building up Investment Portfolio through long-term investing for growth-dividends and short-term trading on Rounds after Rounds. I have also achieved sustainable retirement income for life from CPF and Year-on-year Diminishing Bear Market Impact stock Investment Portfolio in local market, SGX! i.e. Beary Safe! Cheers!

Chinese prefer "round" numbers like 3, 6, 8, 9; etc.
4 in Mandarin, Teochew, Hokkien, Cantonese sounds like "death"...

DeleteOne reason to have multiple bank accounts is to take advantage of deposit insurance, although this is not a good solution for high networth individuals.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid there may come a day in future when people use multiple bank accounts to avoid negative interest rate. In Germany, some banks are charging negative interest rates. Hope that day never come to Singapore.
