  1. Does SMRT Management know those missing revenues from other Entries on Bus 190 may be enough to pay PSA Uncles or Aunties mini wages. LOL!

    1. Ha! Ha!
CW, you will be wanted for the post of CHIEF BUS INSPECTOR soon.
      My sympathy.

  3. CW,

It also shows the "dead dead; straight straight" lack of flexibility thinking...

Now transfer fare pricing is in our favour.

My experience working on weekends going home at 9:00 pm:

Plan A: MRT fastest; but very crowded. Standing room only. Not fun after standing 8 hours :(

Plan B: Switch to bus. Only 1 bus service.... Longer waiting time and journey; but got seats :(

Plan C: Mind flip. Take any of 5 bus services to another part of Orchard Road. Alight and now 3 others bus services possible to home.

Now got seat and journey timing is just slightly longer than MRT :)

Our Malaysian manager park his car at Rochor or Millenia Walk and take MRT to our showroom at Orchard Road - can save on the expensive parking fees in Orchard ;)

We are not the centre of the universe.

    LOL!

    1. Transport operator SMRT said six short-way trips added on Friday evening to downtown routes handled by bus service 190 appear to have eased the crunch for commuters.

"The situation has improved as we found that passengers were able to board the bus at heavily loaded areas in town," said SMRT in a Facebook post just before 10pm on Saturday.

The update comes after a video, filmed by a frustrated commuter who claimed she was unable to board SMRT bus service 190 after 13 tries, went viral last week. The edited eight-minute footage showed that most of the buses were packed, while some did not stop.

"We will continue to monitor the situation and make further adjustments accordingly. Again, we wish to highlight that everyone has a part to play in making our journey a pleasant one," added SMRT in the post. "Please move to the rear of the bus so that other passengers may board the bus."

    2. Think it is cheaper to have Bus 190 Special Delivery during peak hours for Bus PSA uncles and aunties to semi-automate passengers into future auto mode moving back human passengers.

      LOL!

    3. CW,

I think some uncles and aunties may volunteer to work for free too. Even cheaper! Just give them power power red red MP maciam armband - Special Bus Service Agent you know!?

It would be an ego boost as they can shout in air-con comfort:

"Oi! Move to the rear! Don't look! It's you lah!"

"Behind got ghost is it meh? Move in!"

"Allo! You blind is it? Behind got space. Cannot see?"

"Friend, front got pregnant woman and old man with one leg... Can automatic?

If civic consciousness carrot cannot work; use the shaming stick!
