I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

  1. Hmm, looks like a shooting star with a big gap up... 🤔

  2. Simple math.

    Bought $6.60, sell $7.00 = $0.40

That's more than the $0.15 panadol!

Don't sell is when we have conviction it will break above $7.50?

Sell if we believe it's just a short squeeze. Price will retrace back to $6.50?

That's why trading is hard! Got to make lots of decisions!!!

  3. Actually not that hard. :P

    Go back to 1st principles.

What was your thesis or objective for your Round 102? What is the sell rule for this Round?

Is it to add on to your long term dividend machine?

Or is it to generate shorter term capital gains?

PS: don't let the potentially short term negative candlestick pattern sway your original objective. ;)

  4. New bull run started for s&p and maybe sti.

Will move most of my remaining warchest into stocks & some reits over the next 2-3 months. Huat ahhh! Lol.

Too much cash rotting away. Just keep roughly 4 years' worth of expenses in cash & cash equivalents.
