I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

All Schools Are Good School???

It is likes saying all retail investors CAN be good investors!

After spending years in the market; some will realize they are probably richer if they choose to save or just top up their CPF accounts regularly.

Sometime; Uncle8888 doesn't know how to say to them! Also cannot tell them don't invest lor! Sigh!

When you started investing significantly at different stage of a market cycle; it is quite difficult to achieve good investment outcome.

  1. Those who have invested significantly their war chest in 2006/2007 and not injecting much more capital till today may be sitting on net losses or small net gains including years of dividends.

  2. What we hear from free preview seminars; investing for income is not difficult. What some real retail investors telling me directly is so different. It is not they didn't learn their craft but somehow we are analyzing past fundamental of companies and future ahead fundamental may just change. Tough on the Mind part! Often realize it too late to be meaningful! Tough! Mind part! C

Capital also not big enough to re-calibrate. Lagi tough!
