I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

GRC Temporary Relief Fund to add on to Govt Relief Support in Community???

Read? Minimum Income or Enhanced Workfare Payout???

COVID-19 taught us something!

How about MPs contributing 20 to 30% of net MP allowances after their current contributions to party fund and etc?

WP MPs start the ball rolling and set example?

This GRC Temporary Relief Fund will be closed and return to the Party who have lost the election.

  1. If 5 member grc & donate half of gross allowances i.e. $40K per month, $480K per year. Considering easily 200,000 residents, can only support small amounts of subsidies e.g. some utilities or cheap groceries or childcare centres. To build up into endowment fund need at least a few years with minimal drawdown.

  2. SINGAPORE: Workers’ Party (WP) secretary-general Pritam Singh detailed on Tuesday (Jul 28) how he would allocate half of his allowance as Leader of the Opposition towards helping low-income residents, various needs of the party and other causes.

Earlier in the day, the authorities had announced that Mr Singh would be accorded additional privileges in his role as the Leader of the Opposition, and would also receive double the allowance of an elected Member of Parliament.
