I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

Countdown To Kep Corp XE 23 Feb 23 On 19.1 SML DIS

Read? Keppel Corporation Retail Shareholders' Day.

Are those old timers as Buy & Hold retail in Kep Corp also counting down to XE on 23 Feb like Uncle8888?

Are you of them?

19.1 SML DIS is not a small deal as unrealized capital gains in % ROC to these old timers in Kep Corp. LOL!

Past K-Infra (0.38) and K-REIT (0.2) DIS were really peanuts comparing to 19.1 SML DIS!

    I am still asking myself is this true?

    I have a modest 10 lots of KepCorp, does it mean that I will be issued with 19,100 x 10 Sembmarine shares? I have not received any notification ?

      19.1 SML per 1 kep corp share. Credit of SML DIS to CDP/CPFIS on 1Mar and SML may be in wild rollercoaster ride or big plunge from new SML shareholders from Kep.

    I have 1300 of KCL shares. This means I will get 24,830 units of SML. Since the minimum trading amt is 100 shares, wonder what I can do to the 30 units of SMC.

      Odd lots for penny stock not cost effective to get rid off. If stock not under CPFIS where there is quarterly charged, then keep as sourvier. I also have odd lots

    is this a good thing? Keppel corp share price plunge and we get the 'not good' semb marine which doesnt give good dividend

      Based on today low of kep and sml. 5.13 + 19.1 x 0.123 = 7.48
      Still higher than yesterday closing of kep @7.34 How bad is the plunge?
