SINGAPORE: The
median income from work for households grew in 2012 by 7.5 per cent in
nominal terms, and 2.7 per cent in real terms after taking into account
inflation.
According to the Department of Statistics' latest
report "Key Household Income Trends", household median income rose by
S$530 -- from S$7,040 in 2011 to S$7,570 in 2012.
Taking into
consideration changes in household size, median monthly household income
from work per household member increased by 6.7 per cent in nominal
terms, or 1.9 per cent in real terms in 2012.
