Market did not crash much; but on specific stocks...
I think some may have wished they had cashed out their O&G stocks last year like your veteran friend before WTI crude tanked to below USD50 early this year :(
The same can be said for those who owned banking stocks betting interest rates will rise this year...
Yup, to be right and sitting tight is not easy!
I also sitting on losses on O&G stocks! Wish I have cleared all last year when I already start to be bearish.
