I Am Still Entitled To Official Retirement Award @ 62 After Two Years Of Voluntary Early Retirement @ 60 in Sep 2016

62 is the current official retirement age in Singapore.

After 62; it is just re-employment on yearly re-contracting basis till 65.

Ha ha. Good that he is still not forgotten to receive his entitlement!

Won 7th prize in Lucky Draw!

Not too bad!

  1. Congrats Uncle8888!

Lucky you worked for large GLC, plus also long service employee lah :)

    Oh, re-employment age now 67.

Hmm, I'm starting to see "minimum retirement age" in official govt websites & reports ... alamak maciam like CPF. Soon will have basic retirement age or full retirement age or enhanced retirement age LOL.

No surprise, both under Manpower Ministry purview ;)

  2. Moving goal posts for retirement does not fit well into those youths in their 20s. They want to be FI by 40 :-)
