Coasting Along With "High" Income

DEFINITION of 'Coaster'

A coaster is a slang term for an employee with low ambition and, consequently, low productivity. A coaster is an worker that simply "coasts" through his duties by doing the minimum amount of work to keep his position.

"High" income is relative in that job category/grade/role among our peers!

Those very senior colleagues among us who are earning "high" income; but coasting!

Walau!

Uncle8888 has been in that position coasting for more than 10 years before finally retiring at 60.

Now; Uncle8888 is back to coasting in his investment i.e. doing the minimum amount of work to keep his investment portfolio at 6 to 7% ROC.

Lazy investor!
