Young Engineers Academy- Free Preview!

LP, blogmaster of Bullythebear, recently set up an enrichment centre to teach science using LEGO bricks. This school is called Young Engineers Academy and it is the first and only LEGO based science enrichment that is registered under MOE.  Young Engineers Academy offers courses suitable for children from age 6 to 12, and will soon be introducing programs suitable for younger children in the pre-school age range.

Did you observe how a child plays? The child is full of enthusiasm and excitement and it will be hard for any parents to pull the child away from playing. If only the child will approach school work with the same enthusiasm and energy! At Young Engineers, we believe that the solution lies in our philosophy of edutainment – combining Education with Entertainment. If a child cannot learn the way we teach them, then we have to teach them the way that they learn best, which is through playing. It will be the ideal outcome in our programs if the child has so much fun playing that they didn’t even realize that they are actually learning science.

In line with our philosophy in teaching, it’s better to experience how our programs are like, rather than to read or listen about it theoretically. As such, we encourage you to sign up for our preview lessons and see if the child enjoys learning in such an environment. This preview lesson is normally offered at $50, but readers of this blog will be able to attend it for FREE.
