For how long can we control our mind? Don't need to talk about investment! (2)

Read? For how long can we control our mind? Don't need to talk about investment!

What we see in our TV ads on dementia may be quite mild. This is what I see in my dementia mother-in-law ..

  1. She went out for a stroll in the nearby areas and came back home bare-footed without her shoes and not even knowing that she was not wearing shoes.
  2. How about wearing three socks on one leg and two socks on the other leg and at same time wearing two long pants.
How can we prepare ourselves? Scary man!!!

  1. The recent TV medical ads are well done!

I especially liked the 2 old friends on early colon cancer testing. Humourous yet touching.

But the dementia one freaked me out too!

I guess there are things which can't be prevented. It comes when it comes.

Perhaps we can only say and do the things dear in our hearts today - not putting it off till tomorrow...

  2. Bad news is such scenarios will be more common as the population ages.
Those without children will need to rely on their siblings.
Even those with children will need to be prepared to stay in nursing homes.
Problem is there may not be enough nursing homes to cope with the silver tsunami.

  3. Taking the right supplements can help to reduce or slow down the rate of change.

Dementia though not cure, can at least be improved.

This is one area a lot of people are not aware or do not believe in quality supplements, unless they have witness it themselves.
