When should we swallow our pride and admit that we have picked the wrong stocks and exit?

1. When the stock price is still near our purchase price after 1 year?
2. When the stock price is still near our purchase price after 2 year?
3. When the stock price is still near our purchase price after 3 year?
4. When the stock price is still near our purchase price after 5 year?
5. When STI reaches multi-years new high but the stock price is still near our purchase price?
