Already threw $100K in late Jan & another $100K on 24 Feb. Let's see if the war goes nuclear.
Usually the start of war is a good time to invest. After the Pearl Harbour attack, Dow dropped a further -14% (when Buffett started his investing career at 12 yrs old). Dow gained +64% from Pearl Harbour till the end of WW2.
An exception might be the 1973 Yom Kippur War which occurred right in the middle of the 1973-1974 bear market (where Buffett also lost -50%).
Hmmm come to think about it, this time seems like the early 70s ... accelerating inflation, wars, and wars that further accelerated inflation. Ooops! Kekeke!
