I started serious Investing Journey in Jan 2000 to create wealth through long-term investing and short-term trading; but as from April 2013 my Journey in Investing has changed to create Retirement Income for Life till 85 years old in 2041 for two persons over market cycles of Bull and Bear.

Since 2017 after retiring from full-time job as employee; I am moving towards Investing Nirvana - Freehold Investment Income for Life investing strategy where 100% of investment income from portfolio investment is cashed out to support household expenses i.e. not a single cent of re-investing!

It is 57% (2017 to Aug 2022) to the Land of Investing Nirvana - Freehold Income for Life!

Singapore is an Island But .....

Singapore is an island but still lack of fishing spots.

That is an amazing Joke!

So many past fishing spots are banned now.

From North to South.

From East to West.

  1. CW,

Convince more ministers and MPs to fish as a hobby sure the bans will be reversed ;)

That means the majority of the atas class don't fish.

If not, they sure give their MPs an earful...

    1. CW and temperament,

      Exactly ;)

Fishing is a hobby for lazy bums that don't contribute much to our GDP KPIs...

Got space better reserve for golfing and marinas for yachts.

Now that's leisure activities that contribute to our GDP going by the billions in deals that get done at the golf course and marinas.

Upgrade yourself to blue fin marlin fishing - now that's contribution to GDP as you need to rent/buy a yacht and get a club membership at the marinas ;)

Just look at sports in Singapore.

We excel at sports that "cost" money - sailing, swimming, bowling, etc.

      Football or athletics anyone?

    2. True!

Not contributing to GDP never mind. But, they also reduce revenue to the fishery sector. :-(
